A Bakery Chef, also known as a Pastry Chef, is a culinary professional specializing in creating and decorating baked goods, desserts, and pastries, often overseeing the pastry section of a kitchen, ensuring high quality and adhering to food safety standards.
- **Baking and Dessert Creation**:

- Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, breads, and other desserts.
- Create and develop new recipes and seasonal menu items.
- Follow existing recipes accurately and ensure consistent quality.
- Decorate and present pastries and desserts in a visually appealing way.
- **Kitchen Management**:

- Oversee the pastry section, ensuring smooth operations and meeting service demands.
- Manage inventory, order ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Supervise and train junior bakery staff.
- **Other Duties**:

- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure desserts complement main courses.
- Keep up with the latest trends and techniques in the pastry arts.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and managing inventory.
- Teach Students of BHMCT students.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing.
- Attention to detail and a passion for baking and creating high-quality desserts.
- Organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
