**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Operation**:

- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, or grinding) to produce precision parts.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure parts are produced to specifications.
- **Programming and Optimization**:

- Read, interpret, and modify G-Code and M-Code programs as needed.
- Optimize machine programs to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**:

- Read and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Determine machining requirements, tool selection, and operational sequences.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining defects or quality issues and make necessary adjustments.
- **Tooling and Maintenance**:

- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Adhere to industry standards and company policies during operations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Programming, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience operating CNC machines and working with G-Code and M-Code.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or machining industries is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in writing, reading, and editing G-Code and M-Code.
- Familiarity with CNC control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or Heidenhain).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
- Competence in using precision measurement tools for quality checks.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with advanced machining techniques, such as 5-axis machining.
