As a restaurant hostess, you are the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your primary goal is to ensure excellent customer service and smooth restaurant operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Greeting and Seating Guests**:Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Assist guests in finding suitable tables based on their preferences and party size.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours.

**Communication**:Effectively communicate with guests and provide information about daily specials, menu changes, and promotions.
Relay specific dietary requests or allergies to servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.

**Coordinating with Staff**:Collaborate with the restaurant's serving staff to ensure timely and efficient table turnover.
Communicate table availability to servers and kitchen staff, ensuring a balanced workload.

**Customer Service**:Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints courteously and professionally.
Monitor the dining area to ensure guests have everything they need and offer assistance when necessary.

**Reservation Management**:Record and manage reservations accurately, following restaurant policies.
Confirm reservations and make adjustments as needed to accommodate guest requests.

**Upselling and Promotion**:Promote special promotions, events, and loyalty programs to guests.
Encourage upselling by suggesting additional menu items or beverages when appropriate.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Polite, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy times.
- Knowledge of the restaurant's menu, seating capacity, and reservation policies.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating wait times.
- Experience with reservation software or restaurant management systems is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- Restaurant hostesses typically work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The job may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of small items.
- Hostesses must adhere to the restaurant's dress code and grooming standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
