- We're looking for an IB Securities Transaction Control & Intersystems Specialist to:

- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements and with internal polices and contracts.
- Execute the processes and controls you are responsible for in a timely, accurate and compete manner
- Enhance existing operational processes by leveraging available technical solutions.
- Identify and document the root cause of persistent trade flow issues, reducing risk for the firm.
- Work independently with an understanding of the financial services industry & financial products.
- Master knowledge of Back-to-Back (Intersystem) booking concepts, as well as related trade settlement flows.
- Display exceptional reconciliation knowledge and skills related to front office booking systems, and settlement systems.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues in the Settlements, Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, and external counterparts & clients as required.
- Possess essential Skills / Aptitude such as planning and organizational skills, data analysis, reconciliation development and performance, and root cause analysis.
- Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Office, with strong MS Excel skills and basic MS Access skills.
- Demonstrate ability to research and reconcile financial exceptions while understanding key underlying financial concepts.

**Your team**
- You'll be working in the IB Securities Transaction Control Group (TCG) team in India, which provides an independent review of process and controls, with a focus on Front to Back, Intersystem trade bookings and settlements. You will be responsible for understanding all Equity trade booking flows between UBS affiliates and UBS Securities LLC, which settle via DTCC. It is essential to ensure trade bookings are aligned between systems, fails are aligned between systems, and that subsequent settlement messages are posted to the ledger. TCG (Transaction Control Group) is primarily responsible for providing a view of all exceptions across US Securities functions covering Fed/Treasury Settlements, DTC Settlements, Stock Borrow Loan Settlements, Listed Options, Corporate Actions and Income Processing, and any ad hoc requests received from our colleagues in Finance. The team drives initiatives and challenges existing processes, providing a transparent and consistent approach to risk management.
- Finally, you will be responsible for escalating exceptions to colleagues in the front office, middle office, and settlements according to defined procedures, serving as an essential line of defense that protects the interests of our firm, and of our clients.
