**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Classroom Management**:

- Foster a warm, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Monitor student behavior and provide guidance to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- **Curriculum Planning and Delivery**:

- Develop and implement effective lesson plans in EVS, English, and Mathematics based on the school's curriculum guidelines.
- Introduce innovative teaching methods to make learning interactive and fun, especially for younger students.
- **Student Assessment**:

- Regularly assess students' understanding through quizzes, tests, and informal observations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their academic performance.
- Track individual student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- **Parent and Teacher Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents to discuss their child’s progress and areas of concern.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and collaborate with the school management to ensure the holistic development of students.
- **Holistic Development**:

- Promote the social, emotional, and physical development of students.
- Encourage teamwork, leadership skills, and creativity among students.
- Use storytelling, songs, games, and other child-friendly activities to keep students engaged.
- **Classroom Materials**:

- Organize and manage teaching aids and resources required for effective lesson delivery in EVS, English, and Mathematics.
- Prepare and update classroom displays that support learning and reflect students' work.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent.
- Strong academic background in EVS, English, and Mathematics.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience in teaching primary school students (1st to 3rd standard) is preferred.
- Experience with interactive teaching methods and child-centered learning approaches.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Ability to create an engaging, child-friendly environment.
- Proficient in using technology for educational purposes (smart boards, educational apps, etc.).
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
