**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Supplier Sourcing and Selection**:

- Identify potential suppliers and conduct market research to assess their capabilities, reliability, and pricing.
- Evaluate and compare supplier proposals, negotiate terms, and select the most suitable suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time.
- Build and maintain a database of approved suppliers, ensuring a diverse and reliable supply base.

**Contract Negotiation and Management**:

- Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, including pricing, delivery terms, and service-level agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal and organizational requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise.
- Identify opportunities for contract renegotiation or consolidation to achieve cost savings.
- Purchase Order Processing and Documentation:

- Generate purchase orders based on approved requisitions and ensure accuracy of order details, specifications, and pricing.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for purchase orders.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.

**Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and provide feedback to vendors.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

**Inventory Management**:

- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

**Budgeting and Cost Control**:

- Collaborate with the finance department to develop procurement budgets and cost forecasts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses without compromising quality.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Sound knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and legal regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
