Network Design & Planning: Collaborate with the team to design and implement network solutions based on project requirements.
Configuration & Installation: Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment in line with project objectives.
Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed network design and configuration documentation.
Security Protocols: Implement and manage network security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Testing & Validation: Perform end-to-end testing of network infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
Project Management: Work with stakeholders to define timelines, deliverables, and milestones, providing regular updates on project progress.
Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance during the implementation phase and post-project.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in network architecture and implementation.
Expert level knowledge on LAN & DC Switching technologies.
Good understanding and hands on working in all Cisco Catalyst & Cisco Nexus switches.
Good Knowledge and configuration experience on SPAN, RSPAN & ERSPAN
Good Understanding on 3-tier architecture
Good understanding on Firewall rules and network segmentation.
Hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and access control.
Good network analytics and architectural skills in understating the complex network infrastructure.
Hands on experience in Ruckus switches is an added advantage.
Must be able to prepare and contribute to network HLD & LLD
Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
Proficiency with networking hardware (Cisco, Ruckus, etc.).
Experience with networking tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetBrain).
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
Knowledge with cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work.
Significant experience working with vendors, professional services, and providers.
Automation first mindset.
Agile Enterprise mentality.
Self-starter who continuously develops new skills and proactively leads own career and development.
Excellent influencing, networking, and collaborative working skills.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with the last 5 years in large-scale network architecture design implement and support network deployment, implementation, and operations
Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are highly desirable.
