**Job Purpose**
- Responsible end to end Transport Project rollout & Consolidation deliveries (Optics - Access, Optics - DWDM & IP) including traffic migration
- Responsible for Transmission and IP Network Consolidation
- Ensure effective Capex & Opex control
- Transport network capacity and coverage expansion as per plan
- Redeployment of transport nodes within & outside circle

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**
- Responsible for Rollout of all the Transmission Projects such as Access PTN, Circle DWDM, Metro DWDM, NLD DWDM etc. along with dismantling project and redeployment.
- Responsible for Rollout of IP Projects of the circle in Access, Aggregation & Core layer.
- Responsible for optical & IP network Consolidation in all the layers of the Circle, Access/ Aggregation / Core.
- Responsible for lit up of the new OFC POPs of the circle by deploying planned equipment.
- Work closely with CODE, SNOC and Project Partners for end to end deliverable
- Work closely with SCM team, Equipment Supply vendors for timely materials delivery in Warehouse and site and Coordination with Circle and Infrastructure support team for Sites RFI from IP Service providers (Indus, ATC, Bharti Infratel etc.) and timely Project completion, Capex Spending as per Budgetary Plan.
- BOQ validation and MRN/SRN management to be done and updating various VIL SAP & financial database system
- Responsible for transmission NMS integration of the Circle.
- Completion of Transmission projects as per schedule, cost and quality.
- Transmission readiness for new sites Rollout as per the business plan & Services Provisioning as per requirement
- Capex Spending as per the budgetary plan and Utilisation of Planned Inventory
- Daily project progress report creation and sharing with the stakeholders
- Weekly and bi-weekly project governance
- Creating various Time bound project plan and checking the same

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience**
- 8 ~ 12 years of Telecom domain experience in field projects & operations
- Strong Project Management & Programme Management
- Expertise in Transmission Network Rollout
- Driving Vendors, Field Team, and Circle Teams for timely Project Completion.
- Good Knowledge and understanding of Transport Network Technologies & Topologies of both Optics ( DWDM, PTN, SDH ) and IP ( Internet protocol) / MPLS Etc..
- Project management certification is desired
- Handling change management, Material logistics & Inventory management. - 100% compliance to Vodafone HSW policies and procedures.
- Knowing and handling inventory management

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**
- BE in Electronics & Telecommunication/IT.
- Must have Project Management certification and CCNA certification
- Must have exposure on handling the Major Swap of Access, DWDM, Core & IP NW
- Shall have PMP or equivalent certification and understanding of MS Project and other Project ,management related tools
