**Job Title: Performance Test Architect**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement performance testing strategies, standards, and best practices to ensure optimal system performance.
- Test Planning: Develop performance test plans, including identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), workload models, and system usage patterns.
- Tool Selection: Evaluate, recommend, and implement performance testing tools and frameworks such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or other relevant tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to the QA and testing teams on performance testing methodologies and tools.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards for performance test results, trends, and recommendations.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software performance testing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or architect role.
- Proficiency with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neoload).
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts like latency, throughput, scalability, and concurrency.
- Expertise in identifying performance bottlenecks and profiling tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance tests into DevOps workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Groovy, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Certification in performance testing tools or cloud platforms is a plus
