**Role description**:
Lead I - Software Testing

You are:
The Opportunity
- Testing Efforts: Design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software releases.
- Expertise in using Playwright for end-to-end testing, including setting up and configuring Playwright
- Advanced Playwright Features: Knowledge of handling assertions, API mocking, authentication handling, mobile testing, and integrating Playwright with CI/CD
- Deployment: Containerized deployment of automation script
- Cross-Browser Testing: Ability to run tests across multiple browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
- CI/CD Integration: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Thorough understanding of requirements and transforming them to test cases & test scripts
- Test Strategy Development: Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and schedules to meet project goals and timelines
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve issues, and ensure seamless integration of testing processes
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation - Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress, results, and quality status to stakeholders
