**Job Title**: QA Automation Tester

**Work Hours**: PST Timezone (IST 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on project requirements.
Work independently to identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
Develop test automation scripts using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium within the existing test automation framework.
Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and integrate testing strategies.
Ensure proper test coverage by developing and maintaining test plans and test suites.
Perform regression testing to ensure stability across software releases.
Troubleshoot automation test failures and work with developers to resolve issues.
Follow best practices for test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
Generate detailed test reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and test reviews to enhance software quality.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
4+ years of experience in QA automation testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for test automation.
Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and ability to contribute to existing frameworks.
Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and reusable test scripts.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing responsibilities.
Good understanding of API testing, UI testing, and cross-browser testing.
Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot test failures efficiently.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum/Kanban environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience with performance testing and security testing.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Jest, Mocha, or similar tools).
Experience in mobile automation testing is a plus.
**Work Schedule & Expectations**:
Must be available to support PST business hours (Indian Standard Time: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
Ability to work remotely while maintaining collaboration with distributed teams.
Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality test results.
