Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer .NET & Playwright

Primary Skills: C#, Playwright for .NET, NUnit/xUnit/MSTest, REST API Automation, JSON/XML, Test Frameworks, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Git

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in .NET-based test automation frameworks, especially using Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery in a CI/CD environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust and scalable test automation frameworks using C# and Playwright for .NET.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI and REST APIs using tools such as RestSharp or HttpClient.
  • Implement unit and integration tests using NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
  • Handle and validate JSON/XML data structures within test scenarios.
  • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Perform cross-browser testing leveraging Playwright capabilities.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps teams to maintain code quality and delivery speed.
  • Utilize Git for version control and manage branching strategies.

Secondary Skills:

  • Experience with Postman or Swagger for manual API testing and validation.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL for test data setup and validation.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Experience with Service Bus Explorer for messaging validation (optional but preferred).

Qualifications:

  • 48 years of experience in test automation with a strong command of C# and testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in Playwright for .NET and end-to-end testing strategies.
  • Exposure to Agile development processes and DevOps culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
