- **Orientation**: After admission, counselors may be involved in orientation programs to help new students acclimate to the institution.
- **Data Management**: They may be responsible for maintaining and managing applicant data, including records of admission decisions and statistics.
- **Policy and Procedure Knowledge**: Admission counselors stay updated on institutional policies, admission requirements, and any changes in the education landscape that may impact the admissions process.
