**Job Title**: Field Operation Officer (Plant)

**Job Summary**:
The Field Operation Officer (Plant) is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the packaging plant, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality compliance. The role involves coordinating production, managing workers, maintaining equipment, and optimizing plant performance while adhering to company standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Plant Operations Management**:

- Oversee daily field operations and production activities at the plant.
- Ensure that production schedules are met within specified timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with different departments (quality control, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth plant functioning.

**2. Equipment & Maintenance**:

- Ensure that all plant equipment and machinery are functioning optimally.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Report breakdowns or any mechanical failures and follow up on repairs.

**3. Quality & Compliance**:

- Ensure that all packaging processes adhere to quality control standards and safety guidelines.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain records of quality checks and report any deviations.
- Ensure compliance with local and industry regulations related to safety and environmental standards.

**4. Team Supervision & Training**:

- Supervise plant workers and field operators, ensuring proper work execution.
- Conduct training programs for workers on operational best practices, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

**5. Inventory & Material Management**:

- Track raw material and packaging material inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Maintain records of stock movement and usage.

**6. Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain records of production reports, downtime, maintenance schedules, and quality checks.
- Generate reports on plant performance, efficiency, and operational issues for management review.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in plant operations in the packaging industry.
- **Certifications**: Safety and Quality certifications (preferred).

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of packaging machinery.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Ensure adherence to **health and safety regulations** and company policies.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- **[1+ years]** of experience in mechanical maintenance in the **packaging/manufacturing industry**.
- Hands-on experience with **hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems**.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in **packaging machines, conveyors, and material handling equipment**.
- Knowledge of **PLC-controlled systems** is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Leadership skills with experience in supervising maintenance teams.
- Willingness to work in **rotational shifts** if required.
