As an Audio Visual CAD Draughtsman, you'll be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software specifically tailored for audio-visual systems. Your primary duties may include:

- **Drafting AV System Designs**: Using CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans for audio-visual systems, including equipment layout, cable routing, and installation specifications.
- **Collaborating with Engineers and Designers**: Working closely with audio-visual engineers, designers, and project managers to translate project requirements into technical drawings and plans.
- **Ensuring Compliance**: Ensuring that all drawings and plans adhere to industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- **Material and Equipment Specifications**: Specifying materials, equipment, and components required for audio-visual installations, including detailed annotations and documentation.
- **Project Documentation**: Creating and maintaining project documentation, including drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- **Troubleshooting**: Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to audio-visual systems during the design and installation phases.
- **Staying Updated**: Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in audio-visual design and CAD software.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conducting quality assurance checks on drawings and plans to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- **Coordination**: Coordinating with other stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and electricians to ensure seamless integration of audio-visual systems into building designs.
- **Training and Support**: Providing training and support to junior CAD drafters and other team members as needed.
