As an interior design draughtsman, your primary job role would involve creating detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects. Your responsibilities may include:
1. Drafting and Design: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software, you will create accurate and detailed drawings of interior spaces, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. These drawings will serve as a visual guide for the construction or renovation of the space.

2. Space Planning: Collaborating with interior designers and architects, you will assist in developing space plans that optimize the functionality and aesthetics of interior spaces. This involves determining the placement of walls, doors, windows, furniture, and other elements within the given dimensions and specifications.

3. Material and Finishes Selection: You may be involved in selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings for the interior spaces. This includes researching and sourcing appropriate materials, such as flooring, wall coverings, lighting fixtures, and other decorative elements.

4. Technical Documentation: You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate documentation, such as schedules, specifications, and product information. These documents provide essential details for contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.

5. Coordination and Communication: You will collaborate with various professionals, including interior designers, architects, contractors, and clients. Effective communication and coordination are crucial to ensure that the design intent is accurately translated into the construction phase.

6. Revision and Modifications: Throughout the design process, you will receive feedback and may need to make revisions or modifications to your drawings. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changes are key skills in this role.
