**J**ob Profile:

- Mandatory requirement of travelling to North India namely M.P / U.P etc. within a span of every 15 days, every month.
- Provide legal advice on a range of corporate matters and civil matters such as contracts, negotiations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and NCLT, DRT, Civil and criminal cases, Arbitration etc.
- Should be adept at arguing and handling matters independently at High Court, MSME Courts, District Courts if required.
- Structure, Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to a variety of business transactions
- Work closely with management to provide legal advice and risk analysis on business strategies and initiatives.
- Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Advise on compliance matters and ensure the corporation operates within the law
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate legal issues.
- Stay updated on changes in corporate law and new regulatory initiatives and ensure the corporation is in compliance.
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
- Conducting and managing company legal documentation and correspondence.
- Assessing legal implications that involve the company and advising on possible risks.
- Advising on corporate governance and legal issues related to company activities.
- Travel as and when required to different states where M.D requires your attention.

**REQUIRED SKILLSET**:

- Proven comparable law firm experience.
- Proven background on corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)
- Excellent negotiation and communications skills
- Administrative and managerial skills
- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail
- Current license to practice law
- Degree in Law
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
- Computer skills.
