**Freelance Legal IP Specialist Job Description**

**Position**: Freelance Legal IP Specialist
**Industry**: Intellectual Property (IP) / Legal Services
**Experience**: 3+ years in IP law, patents, trademarks, or copyrights
**Location**: Remote
**Employment Type**: Freelance / Contract

**Key Responsibilities**:
**IP Strategy & Consultation**:

- Advise clients on intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Develop strategies for IP protection and enforcement.

**Drafting & Filing**:

- Draft licensing agreements, IP assignments, and other legal documents.

**IP Due Diligence & Compliance**:

- Conduct IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and licensing deals.
- Ensure compliance with international IP laws and regulations.

**Litigation & Dispute Resolution**: (if applicable)
- Assist in handling IP infringement cases and enforcement actions.
- Support legal proceedings related to IP disputes.

**Research & Analysis**:

- Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate searches
- Analyze competitor patents and provide legal opinions.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of patent and trademark laws (US, EU, international).
- Experience with IP filing systems (USPTO, EPO, WIPO, etc.).
- Excellent legal drafting and contract negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with IP litigation and enforcement.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
- **Preferred Qualifications**:

- Law degree (LLB, JD) with specialization in IP law.
- Certification in Intellectual Property (CIP, WIPO courses).
- Prior experience working with law firms, corporate legal teams, or IP consulting firms.

Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
