Junior Marketing Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Marketing Executive to support marketing and communications initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in scientific and technical marketing while supporting the organization's outreach efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing Support
- Assist in maintaining and updating social media presence across platforms.
- Help create and schedule regular social media content.
- Support website content updates and maintenance.
- Help monitor social media engagement metrics.
- Support in collecting and organizing digital marketing analytics.

Content Creation
- Draft basic content for social media posts and blogs.
- Assist in creating marketing materials and presentations.
- Help maintain the content calendar.
- Support in writing success stories and case studies.
- Aid in developing basic promotional materials.
- Help in maintaining a content repository.

Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain the organization's presence across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
- Create and schedule daily social media posts using management tools like Hootsuite/Buffer.
- Design and create engaging social media graphics using Canva or similar tools.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages across all social platforms.
- Track social media metrics and prepare weekly engagement reports.
- Research and implement trending hashtags relevant to scientific research.
- Create live social media coverage during events and webinars.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social platforms.
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
- Support influencer outreach and engagement within the scientific community.

Event Support
- Assist in organizing marketing events and webinars.
- Help coordinate with satellite centers for local events.
- Support event logistics and registration management.
- Aid in creating event promotional materials.
- Help collect and organize post-event feedback.
- Assist in maintaining the event calendar.

Outreach Support
- Help maintain a database of academic institutions and research organizations.
- Assist in coordinating with ambassadors at the district level.
- Support outreach activities to research institutions.
- Help track and document outreach efforts.
- Assist in preparing outreach materials.
- Support in maintaining the stakeholder contact database.

Administrative Support
- Help organize marketing team meetings and activities.
- Assist in maintaining marketing collateral inventory.
- Support in preparing basic marketing reports.
- Help coordinate with other departments for marketing needs.
- Aid in document management and filing.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Basic understanding of social media platforms.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
