**Objective**
Oversee company’s Strategic priorities, financial control, Accounts and investment including acquisitions. Undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Create opportunities through innovative methods that propel high operational efficiencies and better cash flow management on a long and short term basis. Interface between Group and Business verticals of the function for better synergies in areas of Regulatory and statutory, Tax and Accounts. Ensure accountability of each function in line with the approved budgets and maintain the highest level of governance standards

- Initiate yearly Business budgeting process with a high degree of precision and timeliness by working closely with the various teams viz. marketing, business development, operations and services.- Ensure account finalization with high accuracy. Represent in statutory audits and address audit
- observations promptly. Oversee periodic review of G/L to ensure accounting integrity
- Work closely with an objective to create a system for monitoring key parameters on daily / weekly
- / monthly basis. Ensure MIS is accurate and circulated across individual sites/units and also on a consolidated basis. Based on the MIS, discuss and monitor with various teams on the parameters that have a major impact on the cash flow as well as expenses
- Support CEO/ CFO/ COO in business planning and strategic decisions in acquisitions and mergers. Prepare 3 to 5 years strategic plan.- Continuously benchmark the performance of the business against various parameters like
- EBIDTA, Per unit contribution etc. with peers within the industry.
- Ensure integrity and control across various processes through continuous improvement: make certain that processes are executed in line with new operating model and support adoption of improvements in accounting and reporting system and processes- Organize and plan various M&A. Setup and coordinate with various departments for cross
functional due diligence
- Guide and monitor all business sites in terms of direct and indirect cost. Bring in efficiency of
- operations through better understanding of various financial parameters.
- Ensure that revenues and expenses are booked in line with the accounting policies of the
Company and guidelines laid down by the Group Policies and that any changes in accounting rules and policies are promptly implemented in the Business.- Participate in account finalization of open items. Represent BU in statutory audits and address audit observations promptly, oversee periodic review of G/L (or triggered by FP&A) to ensure high level of accounting integrity- Interface with Corporate Secretarial in compliance matters. Ensure prompt notification of Secretarial events to the Corporate Secretarial team and monitor satisfaction of compliance with RoC, RBI, SEBI, Stock Exchanges. Act as the single point of contact for all Secretarial related issues within own BU- Ensure appropriate and adequate insurance coverage policy and claims recovery. Ensure prompt notification of incidents and provide support during surveys through provision of relevant documentation. Represent the business in claims negotiations if required- Ensure that Shared Services (ABEX) stays true to agreed SLAs, BU meets all reverse SLAs, any disagreements between Shared Services and BU Commercial requiring BU F&A intervention are promptly addressed, providing inputs / suggestions for improvement in Shared Services service delivery and helping shape the roadmap for Shared Services- Interface with Corporate Tax team to ensure adherence to promised SLAs for DT & IDT

- Ensure Review of Petition in coordination with Business Development. Review answers given by respondents and provide Information and validation of Change in Law Invoices & Invoice on CT- Strengthen the system of Compliances and Pre-validation of major contract to ensure optimum Fiscal Benefit under GST Regime and Active Involvement in Regulatory Matters and Optimization of Revenue. Identify the areas of New Levies to be claimed under CIL- Where applicable, work with the Marketing / Biz. Dev. to set up credit standards / terms for receivables, collections policy; setting working capital targets based on cash-flow requirements/ typical cash pattern for BU**Technology**
