ROLE: Principal - SAP

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- We are seeking an experienced and accomplished SAP SD Sales and Distribution Solution Architect with a strong background in SAP S4HANA implementations. As the SAP SD Solution Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of SAP SD solutions within the SAP S4HANA framework.- Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our sales and distribution processes are optimized, aligned with business objectives, and take full advantage of the latest SAP S4HANA capabilities.- Responsibilities Solution Design Lead the design of SAP SD solutions within the SAP S4HANA landscape, aligning them with business requirements and industry best practices.- Business Process Alignment Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand sales and distribution processes and objectives, offering expert guidance on how to leverage SAP SD within the SAP S4HANA environment.-
- Architectural Planning Develop and maintain SAP SD architectural standards, guidelines, and roadmaps to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and security within the SAP S4HANA landscape.- Solution Implementation Oversee the implementation of SAP SD solutions within SAP S4HANA, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems.Functional Consultation Provide expert advice on SAP SD capabilities, recommending innovative solutions to optimize sales and distribution processes.- Integration Ensure effective integration of SAP SD with other SAP S4HANA modules, such as SAP MM and SAP FICO.Technical Leadership Lead and guide a team of SAP SD professionals, providing technical direction, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.- Testing and Quality Assurance Supervise the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, guaranteeing that solutions meet stringent quality and performance standards.Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP SD solution architecture, configuration guides, and process documentation.- Stakeholder Communication Act as the primary liaison for business stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and met through SAP SD solutions in the SAP S4HANA environment.Continuous Improvement Stay current with the latest SAP SD and SAP S4HANA trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process enhancements and improvements.- Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Sales and Marketing, or a related field. A relevant masters degree is a plus.Proven experience 12 plus years as an SAP SD Solution Architect with a strong emphasis on SAP S4HANA implementations.- Extensive knowledge of SAP SD functionality, configuration, and integration within the SAP S4HANA landscape.SAP certifications in SAP SD and SAP S4HANA are highly desirable.Must have worked with UK based customersIndepth understanding of sales and distribution best practices and principles.Successful experience in leading and managing technical teams and projects.- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.Effective problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and timelines.
