- **Purpose of the role**:

- This role will be responsible for all communication and social development and engagement, on behalf of the company, as a part of CSR. The incumbent is responsible for the implementation of approved Social Performance strategy and plans initiatives. The incumbent should carry out the company’s vision of social development. The incumbent shall also be responsible for regular updation of company’s website as per the latest event in the company.- **Job Specification**
- Develop, review and annually update company’s CSR Plans and action plan
- Communication, media planning, social media management about corporate philanthropy
- Successful implementation and management of Social Improvement Plan
- Conduct various social operations especially in the rural part of the country
- Timeous and accurate reporting of Social performance information to Senior Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the operational areas including (but not limited to) regulators, local authorities, NGOs etc.
- Represent company at key engagements which require social input/knowledge (ie. NGO engagement).
- Ensure the effective and timely execution of the Social Investment Strategy accounting for business risks, operations and development requirements.
- Manage the annual budget cycle, forecasting and key Social Investment Contracts
- Ensure company’s website is updated by coordinating with various stakeholders
- Cover and update regular client story on company’s website and on other social media platforms
- **Skills & Experience**:

- Degree qualified in social sciences/humanities
- Extensive previous experience working within a development/social performance role
- Previous exposure to technical aspects of environmental/social impact assessment
- Experience in the management of grievances and supporting systems.
- Experience in developing and executing social investment and society development projects
- Experience in managing budgets and complex schedules
