Tableau and Power BI Administrator

Manage and support migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards), from development to production environments.
- Create/Manage Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources and Data Connections.
- Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues.
- Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing).
- Assist in the identification and migration of data sources to Tableau server.

**Requirements**:

- experience as Tableau Server administrator
- experience with Power BI administration
- Assist users with troubleshooting of performance issues
- Excellent Linux commands and automations knowledge
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI and Tableau Server architecture discussions
- Researches and assists with scaling new data analytics products within the department including, but not limited to R Studio Server, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI
- Planning Disaster Recovery and backup strategies
- Collaborate with Technology team members (engineers, administrators, analysts) to design, build, and support all data/reporting/analytics systems, tools and infrastructure
- Be detail oriented having extensive integration and server side administration experience
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate and work with fellow team members and other functional team members to coordinate and meet deliverables (offshore incl.)
- Be able to collaborate and work in a fast-paced global team environment with mínimal supervision and have the ability to escalate issues in a timely manner
- Able to handle shift single handedly, including shift rotations (with night shift) and occasional weekend work for maitenance and deployment activities
