Creative Designer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design attention-grabbing pamphlets, flyers, brochures, and promotional materials for both print and digital distribution
- Create engaging visual content for social media platforms, with emphasis on Facebook marketing campaigns and advertisements
- Develop and execute social media content strategies that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
- Conceptualize original design ideas that meet client requirements and communicate brand messages effectively
- Collaborate with marketing teams, creative directors, and stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver innovative solutions
- Maintain brand consistency across all design projects and marketing channels
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Present design concepts and prototypes to clients and incorporate feedback into final deliverables
- Conduct market research to stay informed about design trends and audience preferences
- Coordinate with web developers, printers, and external vendors to ensure proper implementation of designs

Required Skills & Technical ProficiencyDesign Software (Essential)
- **Expert proficiency in Canva** for quick content creation and social media graphics
- **Adobe Creative Suite mastery** including Photoshop (image editing), Illustrator (vector graphics), InDesign (layout design), and After Effects (motion graphics)
- **Figma** for UI/UX design and real-time collaborative projects
- Working knowledge of **Sketch** for web and app interface design

Alternative & Supporting Tools
- Proficiency with **Canva alternatives** such as Crello/VistaCreate, PicMonkey, or Desygner for diverse design needs
- Experience with **AI-powered design tools** including Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL-E, Leonardo.AI, or Pixlr for enhanced productivity
- Familiarity with **CorelDRAW** for vector illustration work
- Knowledge of open-source tools like **GIMP** or **Inkscape** as alternatives

- **Infographic creation tools** such as Visme or Piktochart
- **Animation tools** like Animaker for social media video content

Marketing & Social Media Expertise
- Strong understanding of **Facebook marketing** including ad creation, audience targeting, and campaign optimization
- Knowledge of **social media strategies** across multiple platforms
- Ability to create content optimized for social media engagement and performance metrics
- Experience with social media scheduling and content management tools
- Understanding of digital marketing metrics and analytics.

Core Design Competencies
- Strong grasp of **design principles** including typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Excellent **visual storytelling** abilities to communicate brand messages effectively
- Expertise in creating designs for both **print and digital media**:

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Visual Communication, or related field
- **2-5 years of proven experience** as a Creative Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role
- **Strong portfolio** showcasing creative and innovative design work, particularly pamphlets, promotional materials, and social media content
- Demonstrated experience creating marketing materials and business-oriented design products
- Proven track record of successful social media and Facebook marketing campaigns

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with video editing and motion graphics software
- Knowledge of print production processes and specifications
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics for web design projects
- Experience working with content management systems
- Understanding of SEO principles as they relate to visual content
- Certification in Adobe Creative Suite or related design programs
