**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in prepping ingredients for Chinese dishes, including chopping, marinating, and mise en place.
- **Cooking**: Prepare and cook Chinese dishes such as stir-fries, dumplings, noodles, and soups under the supervision of the senior chef.
- **Wok Skills**: Handle and cook with the wok, ensuring the correct use of heat and cooking techniques for various dishes.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation, including taste and presentation.
- **Kitchen Organization**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including tools and storage.
- **Inventory**: Assist in managing kitchen inventory and ensure that necessary ingredients and supplies are well-stocked.
- **Safety & Hygiene**: Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the senior Chinese chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

**Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: 2 - 3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine, preferably in a similar role.
- **Skills**: Good knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, especially wok cooking, stir-frying, steaming, and deep-frying.
- **Communication**: Basic communication skills to work effectively with the team.
- **Personality**: A passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- **Education**: Formal culinary training or equivalent experience in Chinese cuisine is preferred.
