Production & Quality Supervisor

**Job Title**: Production Supervisor - with Quality Control Experience
**Location**: Vadodara

**Reports To**: Production Manager / Plant Head

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities: Production Supervision**
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules to meet output targets.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers and operators.
- Ensure optimal utilization of materials, machines, and manpower.
- Monitor and maintain proper shop floor discipline and 5S standards.
- Report production data and submit daily, weekly, and monthly output reports.

**Quality Control & Assurance**
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Coordinate with the QC/QA team to ensure testing procedures are followed and documentation is complete.
- Maintain documentation for ISO/quality audits and support audit readiness.

**Team Management & Training**
- Provide training and guidance to workers on production and quality standards.
- Evaluate team performance and implement improvements to increase productivity and product quality.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

**Safety & Compliance**
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on the shop floor.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to operational safety practices.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in production supervision with hands-on exposure to QC procedures.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Proficient in quality tools (5S, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, etc.).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Knowledge of production planning software/tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in paints and green building materials.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
