Job Opening - Melting In-Charge / Melting Operator (Arc Furnace)

**Location**: BaidyaBati, Hooghly
**Industry**: Steel / Forging / Foundry / Heavy Manufacturing

**Experience**: 5-10 Years in Arc Furnace Operation

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and monitor **Arc Furnace** during steel melting operations.
- Supervise **charge mix preparation, scrap loading, melting, and tapping**.
- Maintain furnace parameters to achieve **desired steel grades and quality**.
- Coordinate with the **lab/quality team** for sampling and heat analysis.
- Implement **safety protocols, energy efficiency, and preventive maintenance**.
- Manage a team of operators/helpers and ensure smooth production flow.
- Keep records of **heat cycles, raw material consumption, and production reports**.
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in **Metallurgy / Mechanical / Electrical** (preferred).
- **5-10 years** of experience in **Arc Furnace operations (Induction/ EAF / LRF exposure preferred)**.
- Hands-on knowledge of **furnace operation, refractory handling, and ladle management**.
- Strong focus on **safety, productivity, and quality compliance**.
- Leadership qualities to manage shift operations independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,178.39 - ₹50,520.66 per month
