Job Description:
Position**:US Freight Customs Specialist**

**Job Summary**:
The US Freight Customs Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth flow of goods through the customs process. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, preparing and submitting documentation, and staying up-to-date with changes in customs regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Manage Customs Documentation

2. Customs Compliance

3. Customs Clearance

4. Record Keeping

5. Communication

6. Risk Management

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Strong understanding of US customs regulations, import/export processes, and trade compliance.
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using customs software and MS Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle challenging situations.
- Prior experience in a similar customs-related role.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
