A **Retail Sales **Associate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a retail store, ensuring that sales targets are met, and managing the sales team. Here are the key roles and responsibilities:
1. **Sales Strategy and Target Achievement**
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet the store’s targets.
- Set individual and team sales goals.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet sales objectives.
- Forecast sales and prepare budgets.

2. **Team Management**
- Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff.
- Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage.
- Motivate and lead the sales team to improve performance.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities for staff.
- Conduct performance appraisals.

3. **Customer Service**
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent customer service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Train staff to enhance customer experience.
- Implement customer loyalty programs.

4. **Store Operations**
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing the store.
- Maintain store appearance and ensure merchandise is displayed correctly.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage product ordering.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.

5. **Financial Management**
- Manage the store’s budget and expenses.
- Track sales figures and other financial metrics.
- Prepare and analyze reports to assess profitability and performance.
- Manage cash, including daily reconciliation of sales.

6. **Marketing and Promotions**
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotions and special offers.
- Implement in-store displays, events, and promotions.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

7. **Reporting**
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and store operations to senior management.
- Keep track of sales data, inventory levels, and employee performance.

8. **Inventory and Stock Management**
- Ensure accurate stock levels by managing inventory efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits.
- Prevent stock loss through theft or damage.

9. **Vendor and Supplier Relations**
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate deliveries and manage inventory receipt.

10. **Compliance and Legal Adherence**
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Stay updated on retail laws and practices.

These roles and responsibilities aim to ensure smooth retail operations, increased sales, a motivated team, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
