**Introduction**:
The main purpose of the role is to support the growth ambition of the Indian Payments & Cash Management (PCM) business by developing & driving the delivery of a market lending joined up sales and product strategy for the inbound into India PCM portfolio. The incumbent will be expected to structure global payments and cash management deals and deliver leading edge advice through the sale of complex payments, cash management and liquidity solutions.
The individual works closely with senior Cash Sales Managers, Relationship Directors and Global Relationship Directors in identifying inbound into India corridor business opportunities. With the goal of providing clients with best in class payment and cash management solutions to support their financial needs in India. The role will require a strong knowledge of domestic and cross-border cash management, liquidity and global payment solutions.
Aligned to the overall India PCM strategy, this role will champion all inbound into India business corridor for cash sales activity;
ï‚- Play an integral part in achieving the Cash income plan through the acquisition of new business in the cash arena and protecting income lines from potential competitor threat.

ï‚- To establish Barclays as one of the market leaders in the field of cash management, aligned to the Corporate Bank transaction banking teams globally.

ï‚- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with valuable key names through effective client planning, to ensure Barclays earnings are maximised from the Cash Management Products.

ï‚- Partner with Sales colleagues to keep track of market trends and competitive offerings, structure competitive pitches for key clients and work closely with Sales Managers for business development

ï‚- Assist in developing innovative Cash Management solutions for the industry sectors by working closely with our product team.

What will you be doing?

ï¶ Proactively work with sales managers to structure solutions from the complex Cash Management product set with specific focus on liquidity solutions, payments and collections solutions
ï¶ Actively engage with clients for liquidity solutions, track and manage the portfolio, defend business and grow the book by garnering additional deposits
ï¶ Identify opportunities for cross-sell of other cash management flows across payments and collections to strengthen client relationships
ï¶ Play an integral role in business development by liaising with sales managers for scoping client requirements and designing bespoke pitchbooks and proposals
ï¶ Partner closely with sales and implementation teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients
ï¶ Sales & Pipeline management - active participation in preparing account plans for key clients and pipeline and RFP deal management
ï¶ Ensure a strong risk discipline, demonstrate prudence, sound judgement and appropriate and timely escalations in the management of all types of risk applicable to the role

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

ï¶ Extended stakeholder management across all regions, to D/MD level as required to ensure timely decisions and solutions.
ï¶ Build/Sustain successful relationships with senior leaders and influencing across all senior levels of the organization.
ï¶ Provide thought leadership a strategic direction to the wider ICB and PCM team
ï¶ Understand the expectations of all stakeholders/groups (including Coverage, Product, Legal, Risk)
ï¶ Able to influence change effectively to meet current and expected future requirements.
ï¶ In collaboration with Relationship Directors ensure market action and sale account plans are in place for key clients, regular pipeline review, sales alignment and execution
