**General Summary**:
The role will interact with various teams within IT and Business to
- Enable and adopt a user-centered design approach to IT products and solutions at Qualcomm,
- Provide creative and insightful design solutions from both IT process and solution perspective.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform usability evaluations on current and new systems to propose UX improvements.
- Contribute to analysis of user needs and user task flows.
- Represent the end-users needs to various audiences.
- Develop and drive functional specifications from the UX perspective.
- Propose Information Architecture, based on the IT solution requirements.
- Drive UX solutioning in creating consistent and intuitive end-user experiences.
- Provide wireframes and such to communicate, illustrate and guide solution designs.
- Hold review meetings for all design work.
- Collaborate with team members on all user experience aspects and issues for the product.
- Evangelize use of UX and provide UX training within IT and related teams.

**Minimum Qualifications**

7 years in IT with 5+ years’ experience in UX with a proven track record of building user interface for solutions and tools including: 1. Strong communication and collaboration skills | 2. Experience and knowledge of workflow, wireframing, and schematic creation tools such as Sketch, Invision | 3. Experience delivering design products in an Agile environment | 4. Ability to communicate and convey rationale behind design decisions effectively to stakeholders | 5. Conduct user research and hold UX training sessions, as required.

**Educational Requirements **Bachelors’ degree in multimedia / human-computer interaction or Bachelors’ degree with certification courses in UX or multimedia.
