Blue Spire is seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer with 5+ years of experience to play a pivotal role within our enterprise UX team. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing imaginative and intuitive digital experiences that empower our bank’s clients to fulfill their financial goals. You will work on the Digital Banking team to deliver best-in-class user experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role requires someone who can translate complex user needs and business requirements into compelling, engaging, and usable designs.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Create low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, user flows, prototypes, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design concepts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to conceptualize ideas and implement customer-focused solutions across all digital touchpoints.
  • Iterate rapidly based on feedback and evolving requirements, increasing prototype fidelity over time.
  • Conduct user experience research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Motivate, inspire, and influence teams to adopt design thinking and UX best practices.
  • Identify and support strategic UX initiatives within the organization.
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


Required Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in UX/design/digital roles, with recent experience in senior UX positions.
  • Proven UX/UI experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise.
  • Proficiency with Figma.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong visual design skills and sensitivity to user-system interactions.
  • Ability to present designs and effectively communicate solutions to stakeholders.
  • Broad understanding of web and mobile UI standards, usability, and interface design principles.
  • Knowledge of ADA standards for digital accessibility.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with Agile development environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for complex enterprise banking systems.
  • Familiarity with additional design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Experience conducting remote usability testing and gathering actionable insights.
