**Duties and Responsibilities**

**1. T**o directly function under the COO and is accountable as overall incharge for quality control and quality assurance issues at Mallige Medical Centre.

2. Responsible for the under mentioned duties and responsibilities through working in close co-ordination with NABH/NABL consultant

a. To Assign, review, and evaluate the work of health care professional, technical, and clerical staff.

b. To Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.

c. To monitor unusual occurrences, initiate follow-up procedures, and report on monthly and yearly comparisons as required.

d. To assist, involve and revision of records, form and procedures.

e. To review quality assurance standards, study existing policies and procedures, and interview personnel and customers to evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance program.

f. To oversee and co-ordinate all NABH/NABL requirements.

g. To formulate quality assurance policies and procedures.

i. To perform quality-assurance functions to accomplish business coordination.

j. Responsible for knowing current QA regulations and informing the COO of any new and/or revised regulations imposed for health care.

k. To select specific topics for review, such as any problem areas procedures, usage of drugs, high volume cases, high risk cases, Bio medical waste management etc.

l. To diligently compile statistical data and write narrative reports summarizing quality assurance findings

m. To assist concerned departments with the coordination of audit information, and recommend appropriate data-gathering mechanisms, procedures, etc

n. Responsible for co-coordinating and achieving a satisfactory working environment between other departments performing quality-assurance studies.

p. To guide personnel engaged in quality assurance review of medical records.

q. To Act as secretary for all committee and to prepare the MOM and action-taken reports for the information of various committees.

r. To review and test quality control, and other testing reports for accuracy, completeness and compliance to requirements to ensure that quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements are met.

s. To assist the COO with revisions of the Quality assurance plan for staff review.

t. To assist and advise on development of laboratory procedure and implementation of the same as directed or as necessary.

u. To review, track and communicate information regarding process variations and quality control samples as required by laboratory quality assurance procedures.

v. To maintains current and accurate records of all relevant communications, audits, corrective action plans, and effectiveness.

w. To monitor and report quality-assurance studies to relevant HOD in accordance with the prescribed QA standards.

x. Undertake any other task as assigned from time to time by the management.

**Salary**: From ₹25,000.00 per month
