**Your Role: The Compass for Global Aspirations**

As a Student Counsellor, you will be the trusted advisor and guide for students and their families as they embark on the exciting journey of studying abroad. Your deep knowledge, personalized support, and genuine care will empower students to make informed decisions that align with their academic and career goals.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- **Personalized Guidance**: Conduct insightful one-on-one counselling sessions to understand each student's unique academic background, career aspirations, and dreams for studying overseas.
- **Academic & Career Strategist**: Assess students' strengths, interests, and achievements to recommend the most suitable academic paths and universities, offering valuable insights into future career prospects in diverse fields.
- **University Navigator**: Skilfully guide students in shortlisting universities that align with their academic profiles, preferences, financial considerations, and ambitious career objectives. Share in-depth knowledge about university rankings, program specifics, admission requirements, and the unique cultural aspects of each institution.
- **Test Preparation Mentor**: Provide expert advice on required standardized tests (TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, and more), recommending effective preparation resources and proven strategies to help students achieve competitive scores.
- **Financial Journey Planner**: Openly discuss the estimated costs associated with studying abroad, including tuition fees, living expenses, and available scholarship opportunities. Help students develop realistic budgets and explore various funding options to make their educational dreams a reality.

**What You'll Bring to the Team**:

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or a closely related field.
- 1-5 years of proven experience in education counselling, with a strong preference for experience within study abroad services of UK and Canada.
- In-depth knowledge of global university systems, diverse admission processes, and current visa regulations across key study destinations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport with students and families.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.
- A genuine sense of empathy, unwavering patience, and a deep commitment to a student-first approach.
