What you will be doing This position works with client experience team including various services and support for FIS capital markets product portfolio, includes order management systems, Exchange connectivity, FIX onboarding, Market data products. What you bring: Knowledge / ExperienceExtensive experience of Capital markets software/service solutions delivered on a hosted services. Proven client support experience on FIX protocol and trading systems Experience of service level frameworks Competent in best practice principals of risk, information security and compliance Knowledge of the financial services marketplace Skills Technical experience with Windows, Linux, SQL, Sybase, other middleware technologies Practical experience of Linux, Unix, Scripting knowledge will be added advantage i.e. python etc. Strong desktop computing skills - PowerPoint and ExcelFIX Onboarding for exchange/algo connectivity skills, Good understanding different protocol versions. Broad knowledge of FIS products and related services; in-depth knowledge of products and services for which team(s) provide support Knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture Working knowledge of workforce management practices and tools, e.g., scheduling software, quality monitoring software Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas Proven project management skills Demons Ability to work both independently and in a team environment QualificationsDegree or equivalent ITIL v1 Foundation or higher desirable CompetenciesFluent in English Excellent communicator - ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion Attention to detail - track record of authoring high quality documentation Organized approach - manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%) What we offer you A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunitiesA broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities - FIS is your final career stepA competitive salary and benefitsA variety of career development tools, resources and opportunities With a 50-year history rooted in the financial services industry, FIS is the world's largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions.
