**Job Summary**

Directing, maintaining the Housekeeping Department in accordance with policies, standards and guidelines established by the hotel.

**Responsibilities**

Provides a clean and defect free room for guest.

Respond to all guest requests in an enthusiastic manner. Expedites requests as quickly and effectively as possible.

Communicates with guest at every opportunity to get their feedback.

To walk the talk and be a role model in delighting customers

Recognizes team members for outstanding delivery of customer delight.

Be visible and accessible to the guest and follow through on Guests.

Maintains strong relationship and goodwill with regular guests and local patrons.

Practices and promotes effective and timely recovery of guest complaint situations.

Be consistent in delivery of service.

Always meets and exceeds customer expectation.

Ensures all amenities are delivered.

Observes and highlights service areas which can be improved to maximize guest value for money.

Reviews quality standard on a monthly basis.

Quality inspection of all VIP rooms.

Spot checks on public areas, back of the house and guestrooms and services.

Ensures that the SOP are adhered to.

Assisting in the preparation of a quarterly cyclical cleaning schedule for the supervisors to implement together with the Housemen.

Controls out-sourced works for quality and productivity.

Ensures preventive maintenance in all Guest rooms, public areas and back of the house areas.

Ensures high standards of cleaning in the public areas and back of the house areas

Communicates standards of service to team.

Makes sure that all staff follows the grooming and hygiene standards.

Implements and manages structured training programs for the department

Assists and supports Training manager in his duties

Identifies and implements training based on departmental needs

Directly responsible for ensuring that proper training of staff is done such that staff has the necessary skill to perform duties with maximum efficiency.

Drafts training schedules for the month based on needs and implements planned training activities and oversees training sessions facilitated by departmental trainer and training manager to ensure maintenance of quality training.

Conducts performance review on a regular basis.

Reviews staff performance on a fair and objective basis.

Provides honest feedback at all times.

Takes appropriate actions within a set time limit to improve staff performance.

Stays abreast of current technology trends within the industry through all available communication media.

Ensures employees are aware and well trained on all available automation.

Is a competent user of available equipment and automation tools utilized within the department.

Utilizes technology to maximize business solution and opportunities.

To maximize staff productivity, yield higher profit

**Qualifications**

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management

4 years as Deputy Housekeeper in an reputed 4 star category Hotel

1-2 years as Executive Housekeeper in a 4 star hotel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: From ₹30,000.00 per month
