**Job Description: Area Sales Officer - Channel Sales (Electrical PVC Casing Pipes)**

**Position Title**: Area Sales Officer
**Location**: Jharkhand (Extensive Travel Required)
**Industry**: Electrical PVC Casing Pipes
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Channel Sales Management**:

- Develop and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers in the assigned territory.
- Ensure smooth supply chain management and achieve sales targets through effective channel operations.
- **Primary and Secondary Sales**:

- Conduct primary sales by securing orders from distributors and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Drive secondary sales by supporting dealers in improving their sales performance and increasing product penetration.
- **Market Development**:

- Identify potential markets and expand the channel network in underserved areas.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the electrical PVC casing pipes segment.
- **Extensive Travel**:

- Travel extensively across Jharkhand to manage and grow the sales network.
- Conduct regular visits to distributors and retailers to provide support, resolve issues, and strengthen relationships.
- **Sales Strategy and Execution**:

- Implement sales plans and promotional activities to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and suggest corrective actions.
- **Reporting and Feedback**:

- Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and other critical business data.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years in channel sales, preferably in electrical PVC casing pipes or related products.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A technical diploma/degree is an added advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- **Other Requirements**:

- Willingness to travel extensively within Jharkhand.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks.
