**Position: Hospital Pharmacist**

**Location**: Jalandhar, Punjab, India

As a Hospital Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient use of medications within our healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Reviewing and interpreting prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
- Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Counseling patients on proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety.
- Monitoring medication inventory levels and ordering medications and supplies as needed.
- Compounding medications when necessary and ensuring compliance with sterile compounding standards.
- Participating in medication-related quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
- Providing education and training to pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and patients as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license issued by the State Pharmacy Council of Punjab.
- Minimum of [2 - 5] years of experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and medication therapy management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in computerized pharmacy systems and electronic health records.
