**Your role**
- Are you great with numbers and does financial management excite you?
- Are you keen to keep a track of financial markets and how events in markets impact the Pnl and Balance sheet of trading desks?
- Do you have a curious mind and get excited about investigating complex issues, identifying root causes, and delivering solutions?
- We’re looking for a financial controller to:
- Implement accounting controls and manage their governance
- Compile and analyze financial information for FX, Rates and Credit products, review daily Pnl and Balance sheet controls and work closely with the team to resolve issue, escalate them where needed and be accountable for daily Pnl and Balance sheet production
- reconcile trade capture system feeds to the general ledger and manage journal entries.
- Provide P&L commentary of mark to market P&L including Market drivers
- Review RSBPL Scallops
- prepare financial statements and other financial reports for the business and external auditors
- collaborate on continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and effectiveness of controls
- comply with requests from internal and external auditors, Internal testing teams
- Innovate through agile working and automation
- Month end close of Pnl and balance sheet, trial balance substantiation including clearing breaks, provide commentary on material P&L moves

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in APAC Financial Accounting & Control team in Hyderabad for FX desk. We work closely with teams in APAC and traders across various products based across the globe providing them with Management Pnl. As a financial controller, you’ll play an important role in making available this vital information to trading desks.
- The APAC Product control team is a diverse set of enthusiastic people who take their work seriously but also love having fun with virtual games and team bonding activities.

**Your expertise**
- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Master’s degree or equivalent in accounting or related field.
- Preferably 3+ years of experience in a similar role focusing on product control, financial reporting and reconciliations within the financial industry or professional services firms.
- know-how to develop a robust set of controls to the financials (cost and revenue) of a global business.
- Analytical and methodical, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator who can adapt style to audience
