Qualification
- In Psychology
- Should have experience in psychiatric setup
- To coordinate admission of patient.
- Ensures patients are admitted in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Develops and achieves departmental goals and objectives by gathering patient, demographic, insurance and financial information
- Manages bed availability and occupancy to maximize bed occupancy and patient traffic according to hospital and federal regulations and guidelines
- Reduces admissions conflicts and discrepancies by collaborating with team and assigns beds according to priority
- Performs regular audits to ensure proper handling and accuracy of all patient data - Communicates with patients, their families, proxies and admitting staff to ensure rules, regulations and procedures are followed
- Improves delivery of patient care by integrating admissions procedures with other care staff, including working with various hospital departments
- Continuously works to achieve hospital goals
- To take daily round of the entire patient’s area of the hospital.
- To ensure necessary action is taken on the incident reported within 7days of Occurrence of incident.
- Coordinate the working of all the clinical departments related to admission
- Receive inputs on safety issues from all sources, consolidate the respective concerns in puts and suggest scope of improvement.
- Investigate and analyze incident s and suggest measures to enhance safety.
- Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
- To perform all other jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
- To keep the MD informed of all the deviations and patient related problems as and when it occurs.
