Job Title: Makeup Artist

**Responsibilities**:
Provide professional makeup services to clients based on their individual preferences and the occasion.

Conduct consultations with clients to understand their desired looks and offer recommendations based on their features, skin type, and personal style.

Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices are followed, including properly sanitizing makeup brushes and tools before and after each use.

Stay updated with current makeup trends, techniques, and products in order to offer the best recommendations and services to clients.

Collaborate with hairstylists, photographers, and other professionals to create cohesive looks for photo shoots, fashion shows, and other events.

Maintain a clean and organized makeup workstation, ensuring that products are stocked and tools are properly maintained.

Keep accurate records of client preferences, product inventory, and services provided.

Attend industry events, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest beauty trends.

**Requirements**:
Proven work experience as a Makeup Artist, preferably in a salon, beauty counter, or freelance capacity.

In-depth knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and tools.

Strong understanding of different skin types and tones, and the ability to match makeup accordingly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.

Attention to detail and ability to create precise, flawless makeup looks.

Creative and artistic mindset, with a passion for makeup and beauty trends.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during events and photo shoots.

Knowledge of proper hygiene and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, based on client demands.

Certification or diploma in Makeup Artistry or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
