Security Guard

We are seeking a professional and dependable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. You will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling assigned areas, and responding promptly to any potential security threats or incidents.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain a safe and secure environment: Monitor surveillance systems, equipment, and alarms to detect and prevent unauthorized access or activities. Take necessary actions to mitigate potential security risks and maintain a high level of safety and security for the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols: Perform routine patrols on foot or in a designated vehicle to ensure all areas of the property are secure. Keep a vigilant eye for suspicious activities, unauthorized individuals, or any breaches in security protocols.
- Access control: Implement and enforce access control procedures, including verifying identification, conducting visitor screenings, and issuing badges or access cards. Maintain accurate records of visitors and employees entering or exiting the premises.
- Emergency response: Respond promptly and effectively to all security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Take appropriate actions, such as alerting emergency services, providing first aid, or evacuating the premises, as necessary.
- Report writing: Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts in detailed and accurate reports. Maintain proper records of incidents, including date, time, location, and individuals involved.
- Customer service: Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by offering assistance, answering inquiries, and directing individuals to the appropriate locations within the premises.
- Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other security personnel, supervisors, and management to ensure consistent adherence to security protocols, share information, and address any concerns or issues affecting security operations.

**Qualifications**
- Height requirement: Minimum height of 6 feet is mandatory to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Education and certification: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Possession of relevant certifications such as security guard training, first aid, or CPR will be advantageous.
- Security experience: Previous experience in security-related roles is preferred but not mandatory. However, a strong sense of responsibility, alertness, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly is essential.
- Physical fitness: The role may require prolonged periods of standing, walking, and patrolling. Applicants must be physically fit and capable of performing regular patrols and responding swiftly to security incidents.
- Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ability to remain calm and composed while communicating during stressful situations is vital.
- Integrity and ethical conduct: As a Security Guard, you must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to company policies and procedures, and uphold the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.
- Knowledge of security procedures: Familiarity with security protocols, emergency response procedures, and access control systems is desirable. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or security measures is crucial.
- Availability: The position may require working on a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility in working hours is necessary to ensure adequate security coverage.

**Salary**: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
