Position Overview:
The Senior Scrum Master is responsible for guiding and mentoring multiple Scrum teams through Agile best practices, helping deliver high-quality products, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The individual must be adept at working with senior leaders, influencing strategic decisions, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Scrum Process Leadership:

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across multiple teams.
- Ensure the teams adhere to Scrum/Agile principles and best practices.
- Remove impediments that hinder the progress of the team.

2. Strategic Alignment and Collaboration:

- Collaborate with senior leadership (Product Owners, VPs, Directors) to ensure alignment of the team’s work with business goals.
- Assist senior leaders in making strategic decisions by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

3. Team Mentorship and Development:

- Mentor Scrum Masters and Agile teams, ensuring they are properly trained and supported in Agile methodologies.
- Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

4. Stakeholder Management:

- Liaise between development teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
- Lead communication and reporting to senior management and leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes of the Scrum teams.

5. Decision-Making Support:

- Collaborate on decisions regarding project scope, timeline, and resources with senior leadership.
- Lead efforts to resolve high-impact issues and risks that affect team performance and project success.

6. Agile Transformation and Continuous Improvement:

- Drive Agile transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Continuously assess and improve team performance through Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.).

7. Cross-Team Coordination:

- Facilitate coordination between multiple Scrum teams in large-scale projects.
- Implement best practices for cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Key Qualifications:
1. Experience:

- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development environments.
- Proven track record of working with senior leaders (executives, directors, VPs) to influence and guide strategic decision-making.
- Experience working in large-scale, cross-functional projects.

2. Agile Expertise:

- Advanced understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Experience in leading Agile transformations or large Agile initiatives within an organization.

3. Leadership and Communication:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive decision-making and change in complex organizational environments.

4. Problem-Solving:

- Ability to solve complex challenges and remove impediments to progress, particularly at a strategic level.
- Experience with conflict resolution and team dynamics.

5. Technical Knowledge:

- Understanding of the technical aspects of software development to facilitate better communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

6. Certifications (preferred):

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent.
- SAFe Agilist or other relevant Agile certifications.

Soft Skills:

- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution
