Formulation Development: Design and optimize pesticide formulations to enhance efficacy and safety while minimizing environmental impact.
- Chemical Analysis: Conduct comprehensive chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry methods.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with production engineers to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce production costs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory requirements related to pesticide production and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and labeling regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to product quality, stability, and performance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, test results, and production activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including research and development, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to support product development and commercialization efforts.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to minimize risks associated with handling hazardous chemicals. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations governing waste disposal and emissions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to enhance product quality, efficiency, and competitiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. A Ph.D. may be preferred for advanced research roles.
- Prior experience in pesticide formulation, production, or related areas within the agrochemical industry.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and NMR spectroscopy.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing pesticide registration, such as EPA regulations in the United States.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
