**Job Purpose**:
Coordinate and ensure analysis of process parameters, implementation of process jobs for conducting pilot trials, process modifications, modification/ replacement of equipment and use of alternative material for technology up gradation.

- Project Planning
Daily discussion with planning and accordingly plans Daily / Shift output and responsible for fulfilling the plan
- Assist SH / DH in analysis of process parameters.
- Prepare list of equipment for evaluation / modifications.
- Make schedule of process parameters machine/equipment performance.
- Coordinate with consultants and other departments.
- Technical process evaluations of machineries / equipment.

- Improvement / Modifications

Optimize the Cycle time of the Equipment while maintaining the quality parameters and Work on Optimizing the processes
- Data collection, information to identify opportunities, bottlenecks, through benchmarking, performance review, development, and suggestions.
- Preparation and approval of Schemes for modification / changes.
- Ensure implementation of Schemes

Supervise and coordinate process engineering of new projects/technology.
- Assist in preparation of project design, engineering and process parameters.

Maintain / Monitor the reports related to processing, Quality and approvals of the batches
- Set process parameters and guidelines.
- Testing and quality control of process parameters.
- Take regular review and update SH/DH about equipment performance.
- Make schedule of monitoring of equipments.
- Make changes if any abnormality found.

- Implementation of projects
Execute implementation of pilot projects / trials.
- Ensure proper execution of process projects.
- Prepare proper plan of implementation.
- Make assessment/review of projects.
- Coordinate with other department for execution of projects.
- Make note on machine performance and review with SH/DH.
- Ensure proper execution/commissioning as per design/ parameters.

- Cost optimization and assessment
Monitor and review the cost involved in the project and ensure best use of cost for productivity / technology improvement.
- Prepare budget to control the cost
- Analyze actual expenses against budget and take corrective measures to reduce variance.
- Suggest measures for improvement in Design/metallurgy/modification/material structure for cost reduction.
- Identify reliable & cheaper alternatives for costly and high consumable spares.
- Life value analysis of costly spares to enhance their life.
- Promote use of in-house resources for fabrication and maximum utilization of scrape.
- Effective and efficient utilization of manpower.
- Carry Out Pareto Analysis on regular basis for the consumption of spares and make & implement action plan to reduce the consumption.

- responsible for maintaining safe work environment i.e. PTW systems to be followed wherever required.
