**Job Purpose**

To provide sound legal advice and assistance (on both a proactive and reactive basis) for Vodafone Idea Enterprise Business team, including drafting and negotiating contracts with customers, suppliers and third parties, litigation support, developing and enforcing governance, communications etc.

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with Indian and foreign parties;
- Preparing and responding to notices, letters etc. from a legal perspective;
- Handling important court cases or similar legal proceedings in consultation with external counsels; briefing to senior counsels on need basis;
- Driving crucial projects to closure within given timelines upon involvement with internal and external stakeholders;
- Advising internal stakeholders on various relevant legal issues;
- Handling contract lifecycle management manually and also by using digital tools;
- Updating / reporting status of prevailing legal issues to senior management;
- Guiding the internal stakeholders on the prevailing processes and practices of legal documentation;
- Reviewing existing policies and procedures of the company.

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience**
- Sound knowledge of laws related to contracting, marketing, and intellectual property rights;
- Well experienced in contract drafting and negotiations;
- Hands on experience with court cases and arbitrations will be preferred;

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**
- Up to date knowledge on latest developments in the legal field will be preferred;
- Network with external counsels across the country will be preferred;

**Years of Experience**

10-15 years in reputed Indian business houses or MNCs
