**Plant Supervisor**

**Brief Description**: Plant Supervisor is responsible for plant operations and sales of cylinders to clients in Chincholi MIDC, Solapur. He is responsible for plant operations. Ensuring that filling of cylinders is taking place under safe conditions considering health and safety of manpower. Also responsible for documentation of production data,stocks, calibration of instruments, administration of plant infrastructure and coordination with other teams for achieving the operations as per process.

**Responsibilities**
- Cylinder Maintenance**:Ensure cylinders are maintained via cylinder maintenance operator (paint, valves, clean, numbers)**:

- Ensure dura cylinders are maintained via cylinder maintenance operator
- Safety: Ensure filling takes place in total safety parameters
- Stock items: Follow up with sales and operations to ensure stock exists
- Create and maintain a list of all stock items
- Keep a track of all stock items and issue purchase requisition slips to purchase executive and follow up for deliveries (internally)
- Calibration: Ensure weights, gauges are calibrated, Tanker Safety valves are calibrated
- Invoices & Account Coordination**:Print invoices to be sent along with vehicles**:

- Maintain a list of customers where invoices are to be sent along with vehicles
- Send invoices to accounts confidentially
- Cash Book handling: Cash book receipts & expenses
- Scan tanker invoices and send to accounts
- Customer cash receipts to be checked with drivers
- Administration: Ensure plant cleanliness (Model photos of each room to be taken)
- Ensure admin related items in plant are working (CCTV, fans, lights, computers, internet). Talk to admin person directly to rectify problematic areas
- Ensure plant fillers and loaders adhere to uniforms
- Software Entries**:Ensure Outward and Inward chalans are made by drivers**:

- Make software entries and keep all entries up to date for AI & WAPL
- Planning Tanker: Planning to be sent to Purchase
- Consumption of Liquid Report: Consumption Report
- Testing: Testing of gases, ammonia**Educational Qualification**:
BSc (Chemistry)

**In hand Salary per month**: Rs 12000 to 15000 per month. Incentives extra for good performance

**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of Industrial health and safety at plant level
- Knowledge and Skills of Plant administration
- Technical understanding of Business & Plant functioning, operations process, quality parameters
- Understanding of maintenance and repair of machinery
- Knowledge of stock and inventory management
- Knowledge of cylinder maintenance under safe conditions
- Tally ,Ms Excel skills and knowledge of software and app
- Knowledge of financial documents like cash receipt,chalans ,record keeping etc.

- Knowledge and skills in MS Office ,Internet ,web search and updating data in related software and app
