Infection Control Nurse Clinical Educator

Report on duty to Nursing Superintendent.
- Take daily rounds in all floors including toilets, OPD and other departments like OT, CSSD. Check for cleanliness of all articles, staff cleanliness.
- Monitoring of all patients with all indwelling catheters, drains, surgical and other wounds, tracheostomy, e/t intubation, and patient on ventilator for prevention of infection.
- Supervise the bio-medical waste disposal right from the generated point till it is finally collected by the corporation and the private bio-medical waste management company.
- Visit the microbiology department for collecting related data like culture reports, fumigation reports etc.
- Check lotion changing of oxygen humidifiers, suction bottles
- Send water for monthly testing.
- Periodical fumigation and fumigation whenever a bio hazard patient is discharged.
- Check for any pests and inform and supervise pest control services..
- Supervise the nurses, doctors’ house-keeping staff on Hand washing and prevention of spread of infection.
- Train and educate all staff on infection control.
- Maintain the records and statistics.
- As per hospital policy sees staff immunization.
- Report to infection control convener and the nursing superintendent daily.
- To co-ordinate and work for the smooth functioning of the hospital
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
