Criteria for Medical ICU Nurse - Is knowledgeable on Patient assessmentscale. - Is knowledgeable on painmanagement. - Is knowledgeable on action and side effects of drugs. - Demonstrates skill in handling patient during transportation. - Demonstrates skill in handling all biomedical equipment’s. - Is knowledgeable on infection control practices. - Assesses and provides care for individuals of all ages and condition. - Provides emotional support to the patient and family members. - Cares for individuals who have a systemic dysfunction, alterations in consciousness and cognition, communication, mobility, rest and sleep, sensation, and plans and implements interventions to support bodily functions & promotes healing.
