**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide specialized care to premature and critically ill neonates.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and ensure timely feeding as per NICU protocols.
- Assist pediatricians and neonatologists during medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient conditions and care provided.
- Educate and support families of newborns regarding neonatal care.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code blue/rapid response protocols.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Clinical proficiency in neonatal nursing
- Strong observational and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of NICU equipment (incubators, ventilators, monitors)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
